How to lost weight? This is how i did it; 15 kg loses without any supplement.

Hey guys, Dah lama tak update blog kan? Perghhh bersawang dah blog ni. Anyway, today, ika nak share kat korang macam mana cara ika hilangkan berat badan. For disclaimer, this is just the way i did it. I won't say that it will also work for you guys because everyone have different types of body. Tapi kalau korang nak try jugak, why not right?

So I seriously started my lost weight journey on Sept 2017. I lost around 15kg since then. Itupun ika banyak jugak memain. Kecundang dengan makanan haha. Now i still working out to fit my body. It's quite hard because temptation is everywhere. Lepas tu,bukan senang nak fitkan badan yang lemaknya sudah diternak bertahun tahun lamanya kah kah. To make it clear, ika sebenarnya memang obes sejak kecil. I hit my highest weight during high school- 90kg bro. Then, start masuk matrik, berat tu berkurang sikit. Sikit je la. Mana taknya, makan tak jaga langsung kot. Semua sumbat. Kek la, junk food la.

Then, masuk tahun pertama degree, ika dah start fikir pasal berat badan.TETAPI, ika buat dengan cara yang tak sihat sgt la. I took diet supplement. Oh yes, i lost a lot of weight tho. 10kg to be honest. Nasib baik ika tak gain balik berat tu la. Cuma, diet supplement ni bukanlah cara yang elok untuk hilangkan berat badan. Sebabnya, dia takkan bagi korang result untuk long-term. Bila korang dah stop ambik supplement, berat takkan maintain ,lagi lagi kalau korang melantak makan tak hengat dunia.

So yeah, tbh I actually spend a lot of money beli macam-macam supplement. But at the end, it doesn't give me a result that i want. Sampailah tahun lepas, ika nekad gila nak turunkan berat badan dan ika nak buat dengan cara yang betul. So this is how i did it.

1) I consider my calories intake

It's very important to know your calories intake per day. Terutamanya untuk beginner. Setiap orang ada kalori intake yang berbeza mengikut berat dan ketinggian. Dan juga berbeza mengikut misi seseorang. Contohnya, orang yang nak turunkan berat badan berbeza kalori intake dia dengan orang yang nak bina badan. Macam ika, kalori intake cuma 1200 kalori sehari sebab misi ika nak turunkan berat badan.  Ika guna MyFitnessPall apps kat phone untuk track ika punya kalori intake. Tapi itu ika guna masa mula-mula nak start diet la. I rarely use it now since I already aware with my food consumption.

2) Kurang minum manis

In fact, i rarely drink sweets anymore. Teh tarik ke, teh o ais ke, coconut shake ke.. Ika memang tak sentuh. Cuma kalau masa itu kawan-kawan beli, ika rasa sikit je. But that's it. Ika memang akan minum air kosong je. It's zero cal and also help to build up our metabolism. Rasanya korang dah biasa kan dengar pasal ni. Tak perlu cerita panjang la kan? haha

3) Get rid of junk food

Oh yes. Every junk food. Potato chips, candy,chocolate, etc ika memang tak makan dah. Bukan junk food je, i get rid of all processed food. Ni lah benda paling basic kalau korang nak turunkan berat badan. Kalau rasa nak snacking, pilihlah makanan yang sihat. Contohnya,buah (my fav yum)

4) Be active

Ika memang buat workout hampir setiap hari. Sebenarnya, kalau diet memang dah strict , berat insyaAllah akan turun. Sebabnya 80% diet 20% workout. Tapi kalau diet je, berat badan akan turun tapi lambat. Of course ika taknak berat turun lambat. That's why i'm working out. Buatlah pape pun. Jogging ke, zumba ke , walk around the park ke, asalkan active.

5) I always motivate myself

Bila start diet ni, motivasi tu sangat penting. Ye la, nak ubah cara pemakanan kita bukan senang. It takes toll on our physical and emotional. Ada sesetengah orang bila diet ni rasa nak marah je sentiasa. Stress la..Lepas tu end up back to square one. Last sekali, haram tak jadi pape. Diet pun entah ke mana. Cara ika motivasi diri , ika akan tengok video kat youtube. I watch all kinds of weight loss journey videos. By doing this, it bring out my desire to lose my weight because if they can, why not me? right? On top of that, ika akan beli baju yang kecik dari saiz ika. This will give me a reason to keep dieting so that i can wear those clothes that i bought. Satu kepuasan weh bila dapat pakai baju tu. ALL THOSE PAINS ARE SO WORTH IT.

6) Mind control

Ika pun tak tahu mana datang kekuatan untuk control minda ika masa ika diet. Bayangkan lah, makanan sedap depan mata, ika boleh tolak mcm tu je. Haha. My mom pun tak ajak dah makan kuih ke chocolate ke sebab dia tahu ika takkan makan. Guys,mind control is very important to keep you from binge eating all the time. Binge eating ni maksudnya korang akan rasa nak makan sentiasa. Walaupun masa tu dah makan tengahari, korang akan rasa tak cukup.Lepas tu mulalah makan junk food semua. Sebenarnya korang tak lapar pun tapi your mind keep telling you to eat. That's why mind control tu penting. Kalau rasa tak lapar, jgn makan dah. Pergi busykan diri dengan benda lain.

7) No weighing myself every single time

Ika memang takkan timbang berat badan ika setiap masa. In fact, I don't even own a weighing scale at all. So how I measure myself? Guna cermin. Bagi ika, inch loss tu lagi penting dari weight loss. Lagipun tak elok sgt timbang berat sentiasa. It will crush your hope bila nampak berat tak turun turun. Padahal, masa tu badan kita baru nak adapt dengan diet dan workout kita. So guys, patience is virtue.

So i think that's all for now. Ika rasa ni semua basic bila nak turunkan berat badan. What most important is ask yourself why you want to lose your weight. It's all up to you because it is your body.I always remind myself " No one can change you except yourself" . :) ALRIGHT? teehee
